How to download Instagram Photos and Videos Online without any App?

So yesterday…

While I was scrolling through my feeds, in what felt like that I should save a video.

And I seriously loved it!

I mean, we all have certain choices, and sometimes we want our favorite clips to remain in our gallery.

Fortunately…

Instagram came up with “saved” feature back in 2016 that helped users to categorize certain posts and keep them saved as a collection in a different location on their Instagram app that they could easily access later.

Before this rollout, there existed tons of applications for Android and iOS online that users resorted to in order to download those files in their gallery.

But not everyone likes that…

Moreover, sometimes there are wifi access issues so users can’t even open their app, let alone seeing the posts that they have saved.

Isn’t it?

Furthermore, if you use such third-party apps and extensions, they sometimes require you to grant them access to your Instagram credentials to download a certain post.

Which, however may sometimes turn out risky down the lane…

And since I have been into this blogging thing for quite a while now, I needed to find a secure and easy way to download Instagram pictures and videos online for Instagram users like you.

That too…

Without even downloading any extra app or extension.

Note- Before we go further on the explanation part, I would like to make it clear that this post is not any promotion or sponsored post, so even if you follow this method and visit their site, I won’t be getting anything as I am not affiliated to the site in any way shape or form.

So without further ado, let’s get down to the business and learn how users on Instagram can download Instagram posts without downloading any extra app-

1- So first, Open your Instagram app, and opt for the post that you would wish to download.

2- Then click on the three vertical dots on the top right corner of the post.

3- Select “Copy Link” among the tray of options.

4- And then type “savefrom.net/” on any browser tab and then paste the link later.

Example- savefrom.net/instagram.com/the/282hehdw……..

5- By following the steps above, you will be taken to the website named ‘Savefrom’, and where you will notice option (in green) to download the picture or video.

6- When you would click on the ‘download’ button, the video or picture starts downloading in the background that you would find in your phone gallery as the download completes. Additionally, you may be led to some other website (as a part of their advertisement) that you can cancel when your download is completely saved.

P.S- There are sometimes rare chances that the video or picture doesn’t get downloaded in the background. So, in such cases, you might have to manually download the video by clicking on three vertical dots that you would notice at the bottom of the video on the screen following when you click on the ‘download’ option on ‘Savefrom’ website.

And you are done!!!

Your picture or video would now be available in your phone gallery that you can view anytime you want, or can even share on other social platforms.

By the way, did you ever try downloading any Instagram post?

If yes!

What method did you actually use?

Apps?

Or Extension?

And let me know in the comments section below if you face any issues following the steps above.

Till then?

See you next time!

Bye-bye.
