How to recover Deleted Posts on Instagram?

There are often times when you are completely down, and things are all messed up.

And…

Nothing feels that right.

Right?

And when such things start happening every now and then, it also starts to show on our social accounts too.

While the phase makes some people resort to account deletion (either temporary or permanently), there are a few who start removing content from their various platforms i.e. Instagram, in our case.

Although the last line might have seemed a little bit offbeat to digest, but it’s indeed true.

And we have all seen or did it someday, didn’t we?

Hence, Instagram in its latest version of the app came up with a new feature that lets users restore the deleted posts within 30 days of deletion.

I don’t how it rolled out all of a sudden, but Instagram must have surely gauged this phenomenon happening on a mass scale on their platform.

And it is for this reason, it seemed like a better option for them to give their users a chance to restore the deleted posts if it was by mistake or under odd conditions.

Photos, videos, reels, IGTV videos and stories you choose to delete are removed from your account immediately and moved to the Recently Deleted folder. Deleted stories that are not in your archive will stay in the folder for up to 24 hours. Everything else will be automatically deleted 30 days later.- cited Instagram (on it’s official news site).

So as you can see…

In any situation, whether it’s by mistake or some personal issue, users now have the control to pull back their posts in their Instagram feed within 30 days if they want.

However, if it’s been more than 30 days, it’s gone forever!

But that’s fair too, right?

30 days should be enough for users to decide whether they want to revert the change or keep it like that.

Now that being said, let’s see how to restore your deleted posts on Instagram after it’s deleted.

Here we go-

1- Go to your profile, and tap on the hamburger icon on the top right corner of the screen.

2- Click on ‘Settings’, and then select ‘Account’ from the surfaced options.

3- Scroll to the bottom, and click on the ‘Recently Deleted’ option from the given options.

4- After clicking, find the post that you want to recover and then click on it.

5- As the post opens, click on the three-dot icon on the top right corner of the screen.

6- Select ‘Restore’ if you want to restore, else click ‘Delete’ if you want to delete that post permanently.

And…

That’s it!

The post that you have deleted is now again in your Instagram feed.

Awesome, right?
